OUR EIGHT-week Summer PROGRAM FOR PRESCHOOLERS at The Makers Place™ WILL TAKE YOUR CHILD ON AN ADVENTURE TO REMEMBER AS WE EXPLORE ALL GENRES OF STORIES THROUGH PLAY
We’ve designed our Mini Makers™ Storybook Summer Program to be flexible, offering both a part-time and a full-time enrollment options on weekdays for five days a week (M-F)*. We welcome new students to join just for the summer or they can continue with us on into the regular Academic Year. ENROLLMENT + SCHEDULE
Similar to our regular academic year, we offer flexible enrollment options for our Summer Program, including both part-time and full-time placements. Early drop off/late pick up options are also available for an additional fee and can be pre-arranged as needed.
Multiple Child Discount: A 10% discount will be applied to the monthly tuition for additional siblings from the same family enrolled concurrently (same fees above apply per student).
TUITION + Fees

Application Fee: $0.00 (it’s free to apply online here)
Admissions Processing Fee: $25.00 (non-refundable) due with your completed Admissions Packet (this fee can also be applied to all incoming Preschool Applicants for Fall 2026; all current preschool students do not need to pay this fee)
Enrollment and Materials Fee: We charge an annual $150.00 Enrollment and Materials Fee is payable per child for incoming students and $100.00 annually for continuing students that is inclusive of the summer program if enrolled. We do not charge an additional Enrollment and Materials Fee for our Summer Session for continuing or incoming fall students, but summer-only student will have this fee added on to their initial invoice.
Early Drop Off/Late Pick Up: We offer early drop off between 7:00-7:45am and late pick up between 5:15-6:00pm for $20/day per option ($40/day for both). Please let us know if you will need to add this on when you apply.
Contract Length: Each child is admitted for the entire eight-week summer session with no ongoing commitment to continue in our regular academic year Preschool Program unless you have applied and have been granted a space for the upcoming academic year.
Admission Requirements
Ages 2 – 5 (must be fully potty trained during the day to enroll; pull ups are okay at nap time only).
Able to follow simple directions without negative behaviors (listening the first time, sitting/standing still during an activity)
Practice independent self-care skills (taking shoes on/off, feeding themselves, independently going to the bathroom and washing their hands)
Each child must have completed state-required forms on file, including current health forms (Child’s Preadmission Health History – Parent’s Report, LIC 702, and Physician’s Report, LIC 701). All enrolled students must also supply current immunization records when they apply for enrollment. All families are also required to participate in a mandatory Summer Family Orientation Workshop that will be held before the program begins.
